When I first heard that Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson was once again going to act together in a comedy, my ears perked and eyes widened. I was actually looking forward to this. All I could think of was how funny and magificant they were in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. They work together greatly and they look good together. They’re acting is great as well, all on their own.

I don’t particularly like the way Matthew talks but, I chose to ignore it while watching this seemingly funny movie. I was quite glad to watch this movie after the disastrous movie Jumper. I needed a good laugh or two after that. And I got it. Thankfully.

The previews for the movie and the trailer did justice to the movie. I was expecting to be disappointed by the lack of funny scenes besides those in the trailer, but was greatly not. I was amused the whole way. Kevin Hart’s role as Bigg Bunny was hilarious. He kept me laughing the whole way. And, of course you need your average rich bimbo. And we got it with Alexis Dziena playing Gemma Honeycutt. Somewhat annoying but there were moments her idiocy was amusing.

Overall, this movie was fun to watch. The exotic location of the Bahamas was pleasing to the eye and fitted the screenplay nicely. I greatly enjoyed the moments of comedy and action. They mixed the two genre’s nicely together and even mixed romance in heap without overly “sexing it out”. They did good by making their sessions of lovemaking into a scene of comedy.

I give a

A-

It was greatly entertaining and overall tasteful. Forget all those bad reviews and just watch the movie for yourself. Follow your gut and watch it. Or just ignore it and watch it anyway. Its only $5. XD
