My first impression of the movie was, WOW. Okay. Sounds cool. I was excited about the prospect of a crazy stalker and such. What I didn’t know was… It actually all took place in an underground parking garage. I didn’t mind it once I began to see it. Wes Bently was of, course, adorable in all his craziness. Rachel Nichols was a little “bleh”. Her acting was a little stressed at times.
The movie was an average stalker movie. You have this girl… who is supposed to be hot. You have this guy who loves this supposedly hot girl. He kidnaps her, she freaks and tries to escape and he runs after her. She turns into a crazy “survivor” and someone or something dies or gets crippled and hurt. There was some surprises in the movie that tickled me and disgusted me.
The whole killing of her co-worker was quite amusing. I found the whole gut busting by getting rammed by a car seemed unrealistic to me. I’ve never gotten rammed by a car as I was tied to a chair, so I don’t know what happens. haha. I hated the whole dog scene. I felt appalled that they actually had her killing the poor, yet viscous, dog so harshly. That scene really gave me a bad taste, but tried to not let that affect my overall opinion of the movie since it was just one scene.
Overall, the movie was constructed ok. It was not perfect and great, but it entertained me for an hour and a half. The acting was fine, just have to overlook a few “huh?” moments. I enjoyed it… for what it was.
